Originally from Brazil, Aline’s passion for photography started when she moved to New York City and would spend long afternoons in the Lower East Side and Chinatown documenting its streets and the many different styles of its residents. After having one of her photographs featured in Vogue Italia’s PhotoVogue section, what was once a hobby became a full time job as a fashion photographer.

Heavily inspired by documentary style photography, Sofia Coppola’s films, the indie sleaze subculture and the downtown art and cultural scene of the 90s and early 2000s, Aline’s work sits at the intersection of fashion, culture and youth.

What makes her photographs so distinct is the fact that she’s always telling a story through candid shots and her slightly dramatic signature flash. Also playing with grainy film textures and pops of color, her photographs pull the personality out of her subjects.

She has worked for clients such as Bergdorf Goodman, Alexandre Birman, Schutz, Assouline, TRESemmé Brazil, Elizabeth Sulcer and Wahter Studio, and her photography has been featured in Vogue, L’Officiel USA, Schön, Fucking Young!, Glamour Brazil, Numéro Brazil, TMRW and many others. Her work was also featured in the “Love” exhibition in Paris during the Spring of 2026.

When she’s not working, Aline can be found either planning a trip to the desert, trying out a new coffee shop in SoHo or Brooklyn or with her point and shoot camera in hands documenting the energy of the city. She’s also currently working on an upcoming book project.
